  • Coordinate/support L&D training programmes Support delegates to have the best learning experience Promote/publicise events/answer customers' queries Prepare delegate learning packs Collate attendance statistics/feedback evaluation. Central point of contact for all programmes/enrolment processes. Maintain the training database Provide administrative support to the HR Director

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • I have developed Time management, Team leader skills, understanding requirements to prepare for meetings, report and evaluation writing, stock taking, Numeracy, presentation writing

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • It was really good. I learnt a lot and valued being able to complete it within working hours.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • It was really well structured with timings for different units allocated, so I knew where I was and how much was left to complete. Regular meetings with college tutor for one to one and essential skills took place

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • phs were very supportive of my apprenticeship and development, giving me a day a week to complete the apprenticeship. My line manager and team supported me really well with reviews and observations

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • Fortnightly meetings were held to go through the learning requirements, mock tests and review work that I had completed and submitted for marking.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • It was noticed from me completing my PDR how much I had learnt whilst doing the apprenticeship - as a result of completing I was given a promotion

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • Internal social media platform (Yammer) where there are many groups that we can join, for example - photography, hobbies and interests, pets, cookery. There is also an apprenticeship group where people share best practice and ask questions. This is the potential to win vouchers for various competitions.

  • Yes


  • 9b. Why?
  • phs are a great employer and really look after their staff. They listen and act on results of the employee engagement - i.e. benefits have been increased with phs perks being implemented where we have the opportunity to save and have discounts on an array of retailers.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to PHS Group?
  • Maybe to do a little bit of research as to what we do, as "we do more than you think"
