  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • At first I found the course exciting and a opportunity to learn and refresh my current skills, however after our shutdown due to covid, I found it hard to motivate myself having to restart my course from module 1 again having already done 8 or 9 of the modules before, but with the support of 2 of my tutors I was able to complete the course.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • I don't think my qualification helps me that much it was more just about refreshing my experience and skills I already have and built up over the 35+ years I've worked in the industry obviously some things have changed such as credit card payments and the use of technology from when I first started in the industry.

  • 9a. Would you recommend Greene King to a friend?
  • Yes

  • 9b. Why?
  • I find Greene King are responsible employers who value their employees. It has a number of support and advice systems, it constantly gives out both new and refreshed training schemes to help support its employees. It tries hard to give a balanced work and private life, gives good pay, holidays and help.

  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Greene King?
  • Listen to your work colleagues, assistant manager and manager, take time to look through The Kingdom app which gives great advice, contact details and support. Greene King is a proactive and supportive employer and these things matter to the individual, so personally I would highly recommend finding employment with Greene King.
