Supporting regional director. Communicating with branch managers. Looking at way of improving efficiency and sales turnover. Looking at ways to become back of house compliant. Being involved with Budgets and targets.
Developed better communication and relationships with managers. Have improved my knowledge around EBITDA, budgets and resource planning. Have learn how to set a clear and direct business plan.
I really enjoy the program. I feel confident that i will be successful and that is a huge boost for me.
considering my lack of time i have had for the programme (due to covid) its worked out great. My tutor is fantastic. Very supportive and helps work problems.
My Director is my mentor. Always available to talk through pieces and provide some guidance. Allows me a few hours a week to work on the programme. But its tough when we have low staff levels and other projects on the go.
Always there if/when i need help. Our one to ones are great, i always come away feeling really positive. He understands that i can struggle with time, But we work the solution and i come away no longer feeling low.
So far a lot of the things i have already covered in my role. But its been great having my knowledge tested. Finding new ways of doing things. It has allowed me to see some questions and projects in a different light.
Currently nothing Real. Where can actually get together. We do have a chat group and have some great banter on social media for all those that wish to join in.
Yes
I have always felt like a valued employee. I cant say i would agree with every decision the company has made. But my line manager feeds the thoughts from the board and i can understand the reasons for it. Great to work for.
Confidence and understanding is key. Confidence in yourself and your abilities. Confidence that you and improve in yourself. Understand that it might not always be plain sailing. Understand that, as a tea, we work together.
