  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I am lucky to have a great mentor in my line manager. He understands and supports my course and offers advice and points me in the right direction. Admittedly, with Covid and running branches lean at the moment. Time has become factor that i struggle with. But my Tutor is understanding and i complete the tasks that he asks. I enjoy the course and i'm looking forward to it being a feather in my cap.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • Its structured really well. Great that my tutor lays it down for me and say X needs doing by the next chat. It provides me with focus and a deadline to work to. I prefer this way. I can study while at work, time depending. and my line manger is a great help.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • I would always attended our meetings and was at a stage of presenting parts and getting others involved. Social events have all been postponed due to COVID. As a family man- I spend time at home with my partners children helping then with homework and craft projects.

  • 9a. Would you recommend The Parts Alliance to a friend?
  • Yes

  • 9b. Why?
  • Its easily laid out. Tutor is laid back and easy to talk to. It works around my current commitments even if my time gets changed around, they understand that it happens in business and we work around it.

  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to The Parts Alliance?
  • Make sure you have support of your company. It can be easier to do while in a work environment rather than home. Also, a mentor in the field you're studying as you can get different views. There is no such thing as a stupid question.
