  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • To assist four Regional Directors with increasing profitability through the current spending customer base. Analysing specific product groups to maximise opportunities and ensure there are no product gaps in customer spends. Looking at customer spends and trends to pinpoint any potential drifting customers and working with the branch teams for any new business.

  • Business sales analysis with vast improvement in the use of Microsoft Excel.

  • The learning has helped me gain additional knowledge and enhance my skills in various aspects.

  • The structure has been excellent and even though this year has been very disjointed due to these unprecedented times. Learning Skills Partnership have been very accommodating and have gone above and beyond in supporting me with my learning.

  • We have had a difficult few months but the support from employer has been excellent.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • Lucky is an asset to Learning Skills Partnership and even though we have had to have our meetings remotely during these unprecedented times it has felt like he has always been by my side to help in any which way possible.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • The qualification has highlighted areas and skills which I may have not given enough attention to detail on previously. It has also shown me areas of my skill set which I could improve on when I thought I could not!

  • I help out with regional trade shows and support the wider network when promoting our business to the customer base.

  • We are a large company but we hold onto our family values.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to The Parts Alliance?
  • Be yourself! Many people when applying for roles in various companies will always give a performance during interviews and although professionalism is one of our standards we are all human.
