  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • I found that the structure was workable within my working role, I found having the vast options of a great learning library at hand gave me great confidence to progress without having to always be in touch with my tutor but to be at the level of learning my tutor expected of me.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • I have received great support from my personal tutor but I feel that the start of the course could have been a little bit more concise. The provider has given me the tools to succeed but I feel we could have had a few more face to face meetings at the beginning.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • We do not have any at the moment but we do, as a team, try to go out for a team meal and drinks at least every 2 months, This is to help the team bond which In turn helps us succeed as a team. It also is an opportunity to air any underlying issues that the team may not be comfortable saying in a work environment.

  • Yes

  • 9b. Why?
  • The working environment is a happy place to work and I have worked at other hotels within Whitbread and find this to also be the case. They look after their employees and offer them great opportunities to train and also offer their employees great discounts and perks.

  • I would highly recommend Whitbread as an employee as they offer great opportunities to all their employees. The application process for a new role is quite a simple process. I would recommend that they take up any chance they get to improve their role which will improve them as a person.
