Receptionist, checking in guests, checking them out, ensuring all your needs are met if applicable. Linen management with delivery and checking and sending off rejects. Bring in charge of a safe with a hotel float inside and having to bank any cash taken from guests etc.
Yes since the apprenticeship started I have learnt many new things to help me manage effectively and efficiently when I move up. Along with completing functional skills in maths and English.
Very much so, I feel I have amazing support by my manager who is on site frequently helping me and teaching me new things whilst my tutor I see at least once a month face to face along with her messaging and checking in at least every couple of days to ensure I am coping ok.
Very well structured, I know what is expected as and when and what time frames I have to complete them
Without them I couldn't have done this, I get a lot support from both my deputy manager and my hotel manager
She is excellent, she really boosts my confidence when I doubt myself! She pushes me to complete things as and when she feels I am capable of doing so without putting me under pressure to do it there and then.
A lot better as I see the bigger picture now from the top down to the bottom!
