I take customers orders, make sure everything is stocked up to deliver the best customer service I can provide, I then pack the order for eating in or take away then I hand out the orders with their drinks to the right person who ordered it and in between this I clean wherever is required.
I learnt how to deliver the best customer service possible with a variety of different colleagues, I learnt how to keep the shop floor and toilets clean and hygienic. I also learnt how to make krushems and pack big and small orders for customers. I also learnt how to fry fries and popcorn chicken.
I work with a happy polite and encouraging team who always push me to do my very best with what ever task I have to do that day, I enjoy working with the public and helping them to experience an enjoyable visit to KFC. The hours are flexible and I am always available to help out in between my shifts if needed.
My programme is well organised and structured to help me gain all the skills and experience to fulfill the role required. It also makes sure I always have the help I need if any from mycolleagues who are working on my shift also from my regional trainer who is also available to me by phone.
The support that i recieve from my employer is helpful to my needs, I recently had to have a small operation and had to have a few days off, while I was off I had much communication from my employer enquiring how I was and they have also help me get back to my shifts quick and easily afterwards.
My training provider helps me by advising me where to look for information and on observing my colleagues to help me improve my service to the general public so they have a great experience, also helped me by phoning me while I was off after my operation so I was not late doing my next step in my course.
I feel that my qualification helps me to perform better in my role because I will have the right skills and have gained them by my colleagues who have been working there for years so I'll get the best knowledge possible to perform my tasks to the best of my knowledge.
Due to the staff all doing different shifts we haven't done any team outings yet for it has been hard to organise, also we have recently had a change over of managers and we are awaiting them to settle into there new role, but I do have a few colleagues on a social media site and communicate with them outside of work.
Yes
Yes I would recommend KFC to a friend, because it is a fun, company to work for. The hours and pay are very good, you are learning and getting experience while you are working and you can also progress through the company to improve and better yourself within the business
If I was talking to a friend who wanted a career in hospitality and hoped to work up to a higher position, I would tell them to go to KFC for the pay is good and it is full of opportunities to work your way higher if they want to.
