  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • On a daily basis I am tasked to manage the drive thru, help my colleagues when free and helping the customers when they order. I regularly communicate with my colleagues to help and support them at times, most days I'm communicating with the customers externally as in on the drive thru by taking their orders and working out a replacement if the item they are after is unavailable. My responsibilities are helping the customers, helping my colleagues and managing drive thru as well as setting up the shop when working in the morning shift.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • I haven't learnt any new skills but I am constantly adapting my skills daily to help improve my performance in what I do in my job.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I am looking forward to completing the programme so that I can finally get the chance to work as a Team Leader, and the the best part of the apprenticeship is meeting new people and having help throughout the course. also gaining another qualification to my collection of certificates. it also helps me in my job as well.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • My programme is well organised/structured giving me helpful information on and off the course, I am always adapting myself with the course and my job, as if it wasn't for my job and the apprenticeship being organised then I'd be struggling with it. It has helped me a lot and i appreciate the support I've received.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • My employer helps me at times when I'm struggling especially on drive thru, he wants the best out of me and to see that he comes and helps taking customers payments. he also gives me advice on where to improve on which helps me try and keep to it.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • I appreciate all the support I've received and still getting now which is a huge boost to getting the next level completed. If it wasn't for the support I'd still be struggling to get it completed. I'm glad to have people around me who are very helpful towards me.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • It has helped me improve my abilities in my job role and my performance has improved massively. I am looking forward to becoming a qualified Team Leader at the end of the course.

  • Unfortunately no as I don't normally interact in extra-curricular activities at work.

  • Because it has a good atmosphere and is a great way of meeting new people daily.
