  • I am front of House e.g. waitress and bar work which was the apprenticeship for but I also do back of House as well.

  • Yeah I have developed my skills towards bar and waitress work loads.

  • I like the format of the apprenticeship.

  • I do feel quite valued just wish the pay was better.

  • It was very organised even with the tutor change.

  • 6a. How much support do you receive from your training provider?
  • I received a lot of support from the tutor. He made sure that I could contact him whenever I needed help.

  • Depends on the situation.

  • 7. How well does your salary/package meet your costs?
  • Well it depends on how many hours I get given. Some weeks I struggle with my finances other weeks I don't.

  • I don't really have a social life to grab opportunities because I need to work a lot of hours to get the amount of money I need for my finances.

  • 9. Would you recommend Greene King to a friend?
  • Yes

  • The sort of work we do is the best job to start of with because it builds on all the skills that you need for later in life.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Greene King?
  • To expect long hours and that you need to be a hard worker and don't mind working weekends and bank holidays.
