  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • I learned how to change nappies and how to become a key person, however training from the manager of my setting didn’t teach me anything and left me to learn everything and know everything on my own

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • The apprenticeship was amazing, my tutor helped me through everything and made sure I understood what I needed to complete and if I was struggling I could go and talk to her about anything I was struggling with. She also supported me through leaving my setting and helped support me to find a new setting and read through my cv.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • I think the program is set up well, it gives you chance to work at your own pace by completing other activities in your own time while’s also completing tasks set by your tutor. I like how there are monthly meetings to discuss progress and how we are developing and if we have any questions.
