  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • My role as a childcare practitioner involves a daily routine with the children including snack time, wake and shake and activities set for them. I have to observe and track the child's progress and see where they can improve by making plans. I am responsible for making food, setting activities and uploading pictures of the children so that their parents can see what they did throughout the day.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I am enjoying this programme because it is allowing me to move at my own pace, learning in the way that's best for me. Assignments can be given at a steady pace or all at once and I am able to do oral discussions rather than verbal assignments. I also enjoy the practical learning a lot. Being able to work in the environment I want helps me complete my assignments and gives me an insight of my future job role as a childcare practitioner.
