  • Assisting class teacher and supporting children. Changing books and leading small groups to boost or stretch their knowledge.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • Yes , getting/ got a greater understanding of what really consists of being a teaching assistant. I also learnt about why it is important we have so many rules, regulations and legislation within the workplace

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I did feel stressed with it. Some questions where straight forward but where worded with so much extended vocab that it made it harder to understand. I also didn’t enjoy having to do phone calls and working whilst on halfterms as thats is my holiday time.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • It is ok if you have a good tutor. Once swapping tutors I felt it was better organised and could see a clear path and of what we where doing

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • My head teacher very little however if I email her and say I need this document she would email it back straight away or answer any questions. My EYFS team was super, answering any questions I had on how to relate it back and just over all boosting my confidence

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • A fair bit . If I ever had questions or was unsure I could text her and get it within the same day

  • For me personally it makes me u sweat and why we perform certain s steps.

  • Yes


  • 9b. Why?
  • Overall they are supportive and have a good programme. The workload isn’t too much but sometimes can be when working out of your holiday time but I would recommend


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Bud?
  • People like me who are working within education get their holiday in halfterms so they may not want to work on halfterms as that is their holiday. I would also love explain every question in the most simple form
