  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • I am a case manager here at Co-op. Working as a estate administer at associate level. I deal with probate and my role is to obtain the grant of probate for deceased and administer their estate according to the will or intestacy.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • Maths. grammar, client communication, client contact, drafting legal documents.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I am so happy in my current role and feel very proud of how far i have come as an apprentice at CLS.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • My working week is 4 days and 1 day I have as a study day. Here i complete my law degree.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • Great support is always there if I require it. I also have a lower target and case load as i work a 0.75 week.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • My qualifications are not for another 5 years therefore i am unsure at this stage.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • My work and studies really work well besides each other.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • I think it would be great for these to be available at co-op legal services however I do not feel this is available at this stage.

  • Yes

  • My job has completely changed my life, i feel i have a strong purpose and really enjoy working at CLS.
