  • I perform inspections and assessments of buildings as a building surveyor to find flaws, evaluate structural integrity, and guarantee conformity with regulations. I regularly visit sites, provide reports, counsel clients on upkeep and renovations, and work with architects and contractors to coordinate projects. I also develop surveys to be conducted on daily basis at workplace.

  • I have consistently improved and learnt new skills throughout my career as a construction surveyor. Through my interactions with customers and stakeholders, I have developed my communication and negotiation skills as well as my technical expertise in using surveying equipment and software. I have also increased my knowledge of building rules and laws.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I have a great deal of fun in my job as a building surveyor. It is incredibly rewarding to have the chance to interact closely with buildings, evaluate their state, and make improvements. My work is dynamic, and every day brings with it new difficulties, which keeps me interested and inspired.

  • My programme is really structured and well-organized. As a building surveyor, I perform inspections, make assessments, and write reports using a methodical process. To ensure thoroughness and correctness in my work, I abide by industry standards, rules, and best practises. This organised approach makes it possible to manage projects effectively and communicate with clients and stakeholders.

  • As a construction surveyor, my employer offers assistance.   • My training provider gives me a lot of assistance while I pursue my building surveyor certification. They give thorough course offerings, access to learning resources, and qualified teachers that offer direction and support for the duration of the learning process. Additionally, they help me find chances for hands-on training and provide assistance.

  • I believe that the certification I received from my training provider really improves my effectiveness . With the knowledge and abilities  gained during the training programme, I have a solid foundation in the rules, guidelines, and best practises of building surveying. I can carry out my responsibilities with assurance and efficiency, make wise choices.

  • There are numerous extracurricular activities available to participate as we engage in social activities that develop a healthy work atmosphere, such as team-building exercises, celebrations, and outings. To keep up with industry trends and advancements, there are also chances to take part in professional networking events, go to industry conferences, and join pertinent associations.
