  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • I work in a care home with adult males over 50 with mild to severe learning difficulties. It is a challenging and rewarding job role. I take great pride in supporting every day 6 persons to take well informed decisions to improve their life towards independence and fulfilment. Some of the people, I support, have challenging behaviours and I learned a lot how to understand human behaviour and mind set.

  • I like my level 3 apprenticeship in health and adult care programme. As someone who is passionate about healthcare and caregiving, I found the content to be incredibly informative and engaging. One thing that really stood out to me was the way the programme presented real-life scenarios and examples to illustrate the concepts being discussed. This made it feel much more practical and relevant than other training programmes I've seen. I also appreciated the attention to detail in the programme. The presenters were clearly experts in their field and had a wealth of knowledge to share. At the same time, they were able to communicate that knowledge in a way that was accessible and easy to understand. • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • In addition to the great content, I also found the programme to be incredibly well-organised and structured. The information was presented in a clear and logical sequence, with each topic building on the previous one. This made it easy to follow along and retain the information. The programme also made great use of visual aids, such as diagrams and charts, to help illustrate key concepts. This made it easier to understand complex ideas and reinforced the information being presented. Another aspect of the programme that I found impressive was the way it balanced theory with practical application. The presenters not only explained the concepts behind different healthcare and caregiving practices, but also demonstrated how those practices are applied in real-life situations.
