Operational oversight of the agency recruitment function. Day to day management of the department, ensuring we are compliant with all legislative requirements.

2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have learnt a lot about emotional intelligence and learning styles. Whilst I had an awareness of these principles, I have expanded my knowledge significantly and put the guidance from models such into practice.

3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

Very much, it is incredibly challenging but the content is very interesting and my tutor is incredibly supportive.

4. How well organised/structured is your programme?

It is structured well generally.

5. How much support do you receive from your employer?

A lot of support. My director checks up on my progress regularly and allows me to block out one day a week to study.

6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

A lot. My tutor is incredibly supportive, always available to answer any queries and on the rare occasion where I feel a bit lost or overwhelmed she is very good at helping me get back on track.

7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

It will help me to understand and manage my department and get the best out of my teams. So far it is helping me manage myself so I can mitigate the impacts of my stress on my teams.

8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

There are social events in Bristol, they are fairly infrequent though.

Yes

It is a group with a lot of growth, both as a business and for individuals looking to progress. I have worked here now for 8.5 years and have enjoyed the constant challenge and chance to grow and progress.

You need to be dynamic, adaptable to change and enjoy the challenges associated with the market.
