  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • My job role in in the administration sector of Learning Skills Partnership. I am in charge of all admin responsibilities within the business and my role involves processing apprentice data on all of our MIS systems. My job is to ensure the processing of all our starts and achievers are done. Alongside this, I monitor and update our compliance records. Alongside this, I deal with all general admin queries and book hotels and tests. My main role is ensuring all information is processed in time for our monthly data return.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • I have learnt many new skills. I am very good at working under pressure during busy processing months and during data return week. My organisational skills have also improved massively. I have great analytical skills as I am constantly analysing and inputting various kinds of data. I am learning further skills through my business admin l3 apprenticeship.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I am loving learning new and more advanced knowledge that is better suited to my job role. The course pushes me to achieve my best in a positive way, it makes me want to put my all into my work and get the most out of the programme. I enjoy the team I work in and interacting with various colleagues who have helped me massively in the achievement of all my qualifications.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • I received a thorough learner induction at enrolment that gave me all the information, advice and guidance I needed so I knew what to expect from the course. Regarding learning the knowledge, skills and behaviours required to achieve my qualification, I cannot thank my tutor enough for all the support she has given me. She is quick to respond to all my queries and is quick to assess my written work. I am always aware of what I need to complete and what my next piece of work will be. I feel really prepared for my assessments and I am confident I will achieve with a good grade. All learning materials are catered to my learning style which is really beneficial to my learning.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • My manager always attends my reviews and meetings with my tutor. She is really positive about my achievement and encourages me to produce my work to the best of my ability. My manager has taken part in lots of my professional discussions and is always complimentary of my work, I find this really motivating. If I have ever needed support my manager, as well as members of the wider team, are always more than willing to help.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • I receive a great deal of support from LSP. I am always aware who to contact, should my tutor not be available, if I need any guidance with any of my qualification work. I find all the learning materials given to me by my tutor extremely informative and these always set me off in the right direction when completing work. The learning platforms I have been enrolled onto have been clearly demonstrated, these are also really helpful and informative.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • My qualification goes hand in hand with my job role. Each module has taught me new knowledge, skills and behaviours that are vital to my everyday job role. I feel a lot more confident in my work as well a lot more knowledgeable about the theory behind my role. I will always apply what I have learnt to be successful at my employer and in my role.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • LSP have an exercise club 3 times a week on a lunch. This is where myself and my colleagues get out for a walk and socialise. We also hold a strategy day every 6 months. This allows us to learn what is happening within the business and we also take part in an exciting team building activity.

  • 9a. Would you recommend Learning Skills Partnership to a friend?
  • Yes


  • 9b. Why?
  • LSP is always going above and beyond to support all of it's learners, employers and employee's. Nothing is ever too much trouble and I always receive support and encouragement when I need it. I feel a part of a great team and Training Provider. Every learner is catered to and all learning is adapted to suit the individual. It's a really great place.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Learning Skills Partnership?
  • I would definitely recommend to just be yourself. We are all really relaxed and we all get on well, we are all up for a laugh and a joke. Before an interview, I would suggest doing some research about LSP as you will be asked what you know about the company, this is vital to secure a role at LSP. Being open to opportunities to develop your skills is a must.
