  • I’m a grounds worker so I’ll do a large range of things for example Curb fitting, Laying tarmac, Steel fixing, Bricklaying etc.

  • Since starting work I have learnt how to properly handle a number of tools like Shovels, Saws, Trowels etc.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • Overall I do enjoy work however I do enjoy certain parts of work more than others like Bricklaying, and Steelfixing.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • My apprenticeship is well organised I always get sent the correct work at a good time and I’m always able to do the work very easy.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • My employer is usually next to me at work helping me with work as well as helping everyone else at work.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • I get sent a lot of learning resources for certain topics witch are very helpful with revising etc.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • I believe it is helpful because I know what to do and not what to do.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • No we are there to work and that’s all.

  • Yes

  • Because it’s honestly really helpful with whatever subject you are interested in.
