  • My role involves processing apprentice data on all of our MIS systems. I am also responsible for all other admin duties within the business, such as compliance and test bookings.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • Since taking on the admin department by myself, I have learnt many new skills. I know how to manage my time better and I am very good at working under pressure. My organisation skills have also improved massively. Through my business admin l3 course, I am developing further skills that are relevant to my job role.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I enjoy my programme a lot. I enjoy learning new things as well as learning and developing skills.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • The programme is well organised. The delivery models set out guide me in the right direction regarding where abouts I should be at what point of the course. This allows me to meet goals.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • I receive plenty of support from employer. I was encouraged to do this course for my own benefit which has led me to become more confident in myself and my role.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • I receive a lot of support from my training provider. Anytime I have a query or I need guidance, my tutor is always on hand to help me and guide me in the right direction.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • My qualification had allowed me to learn the knowledge side behind a business admin role. Aside from just doing the job, it has helped me to understand the background knowledge of my role. It has also developed all my skills which makes me more skilled at my job.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • We have a virtual exercise club that runs 3 times a week over dinner. We also have a quiz every Friday at the end of the day.

  • Yes

  • Learning skills partnership is a very helpful and structured organisation. They know exactly how to guide and assist all learners no matter what their situation is. LSP is passionate about learning and will always encourage each individual to thrive.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Learning Skills Partnership?
  • I would advise that people are friendly, as we deal with a wide variety of apprentices, managers and employers, it is vital that all staff come across friendly and they are approachable.
