The apprenticeship at Guy Carpenter facilitated by Davies Learning Solutions has been great due to the amazing support and flexibility. Line managers and coaches work well to help you manage your work load and creat realistic targets which allow you to grow your skill set in a way that is challenging yet not overwhelming.
I have learnt new skills when it comes to microsoft functions, using new systems within my role as well as doing relevent research. This has been very useful and made me feel accomplished.
I enjoy my programme as it has helped me within my role to make relevent suggestions and participate in discussions with my co-workers that make me feel engaged and involved which over all makes me feel like I belong and thus enjoy my work envirnment
The structure is great because you move at your own pace for the most part and you have plenty of support in doing so. The amount of essays you have to write is a bit challenging to juggle with your workload, especially during peak seasons but if you communicate these challenged with your manager and coach, they will help you find solutions.
Work provide you a line manager and buddy as well as contact with other people with a similar experience which is very helpful. They also will help you by faciliating further learning such as workshops and sessions with co-workers who are specialists in whatever you are studying at your request.
You have monthly sessions with your coach, workshops which run for each exam and you are able to get in touch with them whenever you need assistance. They also provide a different range of learning materials to help further your knowledge.
The knowledge, has helped me make helpful contributions to my team and work more efficiently.
There is plenty of groups involeved to help you further network and engage with other areas of the business. There are also away days and socials that help you have a good work life balance and create a relaxed environment for you to get to know you coworkers in a less formal setting which is nice.

The work life balance is good, the company cares about you as an individula and there is excellent management. They help you map out your career path with a lot of flexibility and also work is rewarded well. Everyone is welcoming so you will feel at home
