  • Leading a team of 24 direct reports, with annual turnover in excess of £115m and over 600 colleagues responsible in total. Leading and managing the team to deliver commercial budgets, implement change and developing others

  • absolutely, marketing, self awareness, self development, strategy

  • Enjoyed it thoroughly, i am so glad i took the decision to stretch and develop myself

  • very organised and structured, however the initial inform on portfolio completion and process could have been better and prevented as much work being left to the last year

  • whenever required support was on hand, never any resistance or challenge

  • significantly, it has lifted my thinking and awareness of the macro and micro environment and supported my personal development

  • i have worked for Co-op for twenty years and enjoyed it immensely, i have developed from boy to man. It has a real family feel i have met my partner and best friends in Co-op whilst developing and growing as a leader and more importantly as a person. Co-op encourages difference and being yourself and i have thrived in this culture and environment


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Co-op?
  • Be comfortable being you, be your best self and don't try to be someone else as Co-op will accept you for you and you can thrive. Its an amazing business
