  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • My day to day role includes making the store legal and compliant. Ensuring the availability of the store is as it should be, managing a team of colleagues and making sure everyone is working towards a common goal. I also work under a store manager who helps me with this

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I am currently enjoying everything I am doing in this apprenticeship. It pushes me out of my comfort zone and helps me with my career. The tutors are very helpful and lovely people. Even learning online has been enjoyable but it would be nice to have in person visits in the future

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • I think that the program is very well structured. Everything I need to do is laid out clear on Onefile and also the tutors are also on hand to contact of there are any issues. The program is structured into group lectures and one to one sessions with tutors. This helps with working with people from different backgrounds.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • My employer supports me by giving me eight hours a week to work on apprentice related tasks. I feel this could be a little more as I feel I typically go over this. You also don't hear much from the company about progress or asking how things are on it.
