  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • My role consist of me supporting my team with external and internal communications. On a day to day basis I am tasked with assisting with webinars and other supporting materials such as reports, articles and get involved with content for our social media channels.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • My organization has improved and I feel that my critical thinking has also developed. Being adaptable is another skill that I have developed as you need to be able to work under pressure and be able ready for any slight changes.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I enjoyed the diverse nature of the tasks that I get involved with but also I enjoy meeting all different colleagues from different parts of the world. I enjoy working as part of a great team who push me to be better.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • My programme is structured very well as I am supported both internal and external with my course work and also with my work tasks. I have a great team around me who make sure I am supported. I am given a study day which allows me to do my course work.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • I am given a mentor in which I can contact at anytime, I am also working within a team in which my line managers make sure that I am doing well mentality and also in regards to the work load. I have weekly meetings with my managers to discuss work and wellbeing. I am supported outside my team with other members of the organization offering time and support.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • I am given a contact person in which I can reach out to for anything. I am also given a Tutor/Mentor who sets my coursework and offers help when I need. I have been placed into a group chat with other apprentices from different firms who are also studying the same course as myself which is helpful. I would say I am supported very well.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • My qualification helps me to gain a broader understanding of role and how what I do fits in with rest of the company. Me having this better understand helps me both ways through and work and while doing my course work as I can reference what I am doing at work in my course work.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • I get involved with some our D&I work. I am part of our social mobility strand and I am also getting involved with our mentoring programme.

  • 9a. Would you recommend Fidelity International to a friend?
  • Yes


  • 9b. Why?
  • Great place to learn and develop as a person but also in your career as the focus is really on developing your skills. I also work with great people and like I mentioned earlier I am supported well.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Fidelity International?
  • I would say be yourself and include all your hobbies and interests in your CV and on your application as they want to get to know the person before anything else. Include any experiences that you may have forgotten to mention and really just be relaxed and look at your interview as more as a conversation then a interview.
