  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • I am a finance administrator and I sort out all the finance paperwork for handover of cars. I do the filing and scanning to make sure we are compliant. I work alongside the business managers and sales executives to help them out. I speak to customers on a daily basis.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • my organisation skills have improved massively as there are more deadlines within the industry. My attention to detail has developed as I have to make sure all the figures are correct to keep us compliant. I have learnt how to use different IT soft wares in order to complete my job.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I enjoy the programme because everything is straight forward and easily explained. It is a very interesting course learning about all the different aspects of business administration. I am enjoying doing the project because I can share with everyone how I am planning on helping the business improve by recording service plans.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • My programme is very structured as a new IT software came out when I was starting and it splits up the different topics that need to be learnt. The files are very organised and easy to work through and to upload the relevant documents accordingly. The monthly calls with my tutor are very helpful to help guide me through the programme.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • I receive a bit of support from my employer in regards of helping me out if I don't understand something or need more answers to certain topics i.e. stakeholders. They will help take some of my work load off me if I need time to focus on getting certain parts of my apprenticeship completed.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • I receive a lot of support from my training provider as I get monthly calls to check up on how I am getting on even when i was furloughed and to help me progress by telling me what I need to focus on next. If I am struggling, my tutor will always be there to answer my emails.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • I perform better in my role as it has taught be about the different aspects of business administration and how it is applied to my job role. I perform better as it has taught me skills to help within my job i.e. dealing with stress, deadlines and organisation skills.

  • 9a. Would you recommend Learning Skills Partnership to a friend?
  • Yes


  • 9b. Why?
  • My tutor has been very helpful and always there if I ever needed anything. She would always support me if I was struggling with a certain topic and help get my ideas flowing. My tutor is very friendly and supportive and can always have a laugh and joke with her which takes the pressure off the apprenticeship.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Learning Skills Partnership?
  • You should always stick to your deadlines, even if they are small ones, it will mean you are progressing and helping get through the apprenticeship. There is no point leaving everything till last minute as the quality of your work won't be as good if you set small targets are you are more likely to put more effort into it.
