  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • My employer is AMAZING! They are very supportive and give us enough time off for study and to complete our assignments. We are mostly given one day off to do this. This is very helpful for completing reviews after workshops and for working on the assignment. • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • Our degree is based on technology and the content is very varied which means we learn alot about technology we can use. In addition, many topics that we learn from the training provider can be applied to our day to day role. This means we can put our learning into a practical setting.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • Yes! There are loads of activities to do - there are many sports clubs. There are many networks that we can join, including race, gender and religious groups. They help to network with similar people. You can also join if you are an ally and not a direct member which means you can meet different people.

  • 9a. Would you recommend EY to a friend?
  • Yes

  • 9b. Why?
  • It is an amazing firm to work for. They really care about you as a person and this is shown in the amount of support for their employees. In addition, there are amazing opportunities such as secondments where you can work in other departments and countries. The atmosphere is amazing when you work at EY.

  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to EY?
  • I would make sure that you research into technology and their application to the working world. This is because technology is a big part of EY and the future of EY. In addition, keep up to date with firm news and what is happening and bring this up in interviews/assessment centres as this shows that you are interested and have done research.
