  • My role is a team leader. This role consists of managing a team, delegating tasks on a day to day basis. Cash handling, customer service and ensure everything is done to maintain health and safety within the work place.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • I have learned how to communicate in the workplace using conversational threading. I have learned about the tuck man team development and have also learned how to be a respectable member of the management team.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I enjoy my apprenticeship to a considerable amount. I believe it is helping me in my role to progress to store manager.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • My apprenticeship is extremely organized as I always have dates for my group conferences with plenty of notice. My tutor is always available if and when I need help and always books in a call with me every 6-8 weeks.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • I currently do not receive as much support as I would like from my employer due to currently having a new manager in store, consequently I believe going forward this will change.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • My training provider is very helpful, is always available if and when I need to contact him for help and has shown his support to me.

  • Yes


  • 9b. Why?
  • I believe the coop is a great place to work. All colleagues are treated fairly and equally. The pay is good as are other benefits such as holidays.

  • Be yourself always.
