  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I do really enjoy the apprenticeship with Co-op, it can feel overwhelming at times when you have many tasks to complete in short time frames but the sense of achievement when you complete them is great and there's fantastic support.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • It's OK, you don't know what you're doing until an email pings up, a structured plan of the programme would have been helpful

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • I do not receive as much support from my employer as I do from my tutor. Store managers aren't given any extra time to help their apprentices and my manager struggles to find time to fit me in, however, he hasn't not found the time I just worry I'm causing him stress and being a pain

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • I get most of my support from my tutor art Hart L&D. Quick responses and great feedback.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • 100% it helps me to perform better. I have learnt some great new skills I can apply to the workplace, and I have developed existing skills to make me even more efficient and confident to lead my team.

    10/10

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • No. Most of those kind of things are aimed at store managers, there is very little for team leaders.

    1/10

  • 9a. Would you recommend Co-op to a friend?
  • Yes

  • 9b. Why?
  • When you look at Co-op's history, who they are and what their aims and goals are, they're a fantastic business to work for and are very rewarding.

  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Co-op?
  • Go for it!
