  • Arranging funerals for clients loved ones Liaising with funeral directors and officiants etc. Admin duties and community work to promote the co-op.

  • The different needs of deceased's families and the varied types of funerals we are able to offer.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • It's ok. I don't like and don't agree that I should have to take maths and English exams when I already took CSE at school and passed both of them.

  • I have no problem with how it is structured other than my comments in question 3

  • Because I work in a quiet branch I am able to work at my own pace so I do not need to ask for time to study.

  • I have plenty of support from my coach and additional support for functional skills.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • It is helping me to understand the funeral industry more incl the history of it and the direction that funerals may go in the future.

  • Yes

  • As an employer I find them to be fully supportive of staff.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Co-op?
  • Do your research and don't come into the industry unless you put customers and clients first at all times.
