    • On the job learning while assisting in the day to day analysis of samples, or the acquisition of said samples. I am also assigned projects on which I work and report back my findings and any problems I believe could arise if the project was to become a day to day operation as a view to improving results accuracy and speed.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

    • I have developed my knowledge and understanding of theoretical chemistry and experimental techniques through working in a fully functioning lab environment. I have also expanded my knowledge of Excel through college work. I have also learnt a vast amount of theoretical work through college, which was very easy to learn due to the structure of learning implemented by Gower College Swansea.

    • There are multiple opportunities but I have yet to take advantage of them

    • It is a very enjoyable workplace and the full time staff are easily approachable and very eager to help train and support you.

    • Do your research on the company before you apply, it will help no end when it comes to the interview stage.
