1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

I was a warehouse operative in a bluechip warehouse picking packing, labeling, organising parcels, using handscanner devices to ensure every box get to the right shelf.

2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I've got many new skills including time management, numeracy, health and safety and a warehouse operations lvl2 qualification

3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

The work itself is a little dull as any warehouses but the place is really clean, organised and bright, we have such technology to carry out simple operations as Ive never met before and that makes our job really simple and easy.

4. How valued do you feel by Adecco Group?

The most important is that they really care for us and whatever issues or questions we have we can go to them at any time and they try to help to the best and resolve whatever the matter is.

5. How well organised/structured is your programme?

We've got real classroom-like training in many things like health and safety, lifting etc, and learnt the other things on the go but we always have got clear explanation and if there were any questions, it was always promptly answered.

6a. How much support do you receive from your training provider?

Really everything. If something I didnt know, instead of trying to figure out I just had to ask, there was no negativity, Ive always got instant help.

6b. How much support do you receive from your employer?

They gave us every tool and support we need to get along the work, the management team frequently visits us on the floor to see if everything is alright and if we have any questions and that every tool is operable or if something needs fixing

7. How well does your salary/package meet your costs?

Well, it was minimal wage for the beginning so it was not much but after 3 months it went up though they didnt cover my travel expenses which was quite a lot, though there were very cheap food and drinks available on site...

8. Are there many opportunities outside of work?

Not really, aside the great cantine that has pool and table tennis (loved these really) there wasnt really any opportunity or if so i didnt know about it.

9. Would you recommend Adecco Group to a friend?

9b. Why?

Altogether they are a really fair and helpful team sorting out everything really quickly, hold our hands as long as we need to make sure we can get along.

10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Adecco Group?

Be open and ask for their help with whatever your need. Seriously, if you feel troubled writing a good cv, ask them and they will help you. Be patient but call them again if they dont answer, they like to see you are willing to work.
