  • On a day to day basis i try to help out my department in any way i can, offering technical solutions etc. My main job is to shadow off site visits and attempt to write risk reports to learn from experienced colleagues as this is my future dream occupation.

  • I cant possible say how many new skills i have learnt and developed. However, the answer is yes. Both hard and soft skills.

  • To the maximum extent. Davies are not great as i feel that may be holding back my development but Marsh as an employer have been fanctastic by offering me all the help i could possible need.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • Not much, but i dont think they are necesssary in the process at all. Life would be easier if I was to just revise, sit the respective exams and then progress within the industry.

  • Very little. The best way me for me to learn my job role is shadoing ad reviewing my performance to enable continued improvement.

  • Yes, i play for the football team and i know there is much more available.

  • Yes

  • Well treated staff, friendly work evironment. Offices all over the country enable maximum networking opportunities etc


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Marsh McLennan?
  • Do your research. One way to stand out from the crowd is to actually know what you are appplying for. Company policies and values are just some pieces of info that i think are compulsory to know about when applying.
