  • Involves sorting out client policies and comparing data from different parties to see if they match. My role also involves work studying in order to gain and maintain important industry knowledge on emerging topics.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • I’d say my time management has improved since I’ve joined, which in turn has improved my sense of internal responsibility while at the company. I have also developed my people skills which I didn’t think could improve but I was very shocked on how I communicates while in the workspace.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I’m quite happy with the program it provides challenges which are always satisfying to overcome, and is also balanced with a additional of off the job learning.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • My programme is structured very well as there is a roadmap with clear instructions on what I should be doing each month in order to achieve my insurance qualification.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • I do receive some support, but I’ve realised that I need more, in order to help me progress with this new industry.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • I reiceve a lot of support including monthly reports on progress and regular group calls with other apprentices’s and occasional emails on exam revision material.

  • Very confident

  • Not many I’d be interested in

  • Yes

  • Yes however only if they had a passion for insurance, as I’d want to insure my friend gets the best experience.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Marsh McLennan?
  • Enjoy the interview processes even though you maybe nervous and take experience and new learning from these interviews as it will help you whether you get the role or fall short.
