  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • on a daily basis i work on insolvency cases - clients who are in liquidation and bankruptcy. I gather and adminster the risk details of each case, and apply the approciate cover based on the risk presented. I produce a policy schedule, invoice and send this to the client.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • I am learning to become more detailed focused and increasing my concentration. To be able to spin several plates at the same time (metaphor) is something i am coming to learn and experince. More techincal/ indusrty knowledge learn rather than skills.

  • External learning provider creates a good gap between employer and my personal learning growth.

  • The programmes structure (exams structure) has changed since last year apprentice causing some confusion with management- therfore its new learning for us all.

  • Strong industry knowledge but also professional individual growth and skills e.g managing time and priortising tasks

  • The people- this is what makes marsh a brillaint place to be and grow. They are brillaint in all aspects and a range of talent. Does not feel like a rat race...

  • Just be yourself... an interview process is about teasing each other to see if you can work with each other everyday.... thats all!
