    • My role is to care for children and to support the adults I work alongside, to provide love and care with teaching our children life skills.

    • Then new things I have taking on is that I know more than I think I do.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

    • I am enjoying this so far. The work I'm doing is showing I know more than I think I do and at the same time has opened my eyes to how the care system works.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?

    • I must say my trainer is clear open and honest. If I have needed any help she is always happy to help. If there is something I don't understand she will reword it until I do fully understand.

    • I am given time within my day to complete work and also given time within my day to take part in sessions.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

    • we meet once a mth but if I need any help she is always ready to help in any way she can. I can call or email if I need to.

    • This has helped with making me understand I know more than I think I do, but there is still lots more to know.

    • Yes Im also doing my maths and english.

    • Yes

  • 9b. Why?

    • We are one big family that looks after each other. The children we have in our home are some of the most loving caring children I have come across.

  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Five Rivers Child Care?

    • If you really want to change a child's life then please join our team. However, we are nothing like Tracy Beaker!!!
