I design kitchens using a computer aided design program. I go to peoples properties to measure their kitchens. I lease with customers and builders and negotiate prices. Using an in house program I manually quote for products requested in customers kitchens.
I have gained more confidence in the ability to speak with customers. I am able to use our computer aided designing program to design kitchens for customers. My mathematic abilities have improved whilst working here, using maths in everyday work as well as learning how to use a tape measure.
I enjoy my programme as it has made me able to communicate efficiently with customers to make sure that I can get a sale by the end of a designing process. It has also taught me more skills on using computer aided design programs.
The structure is organised and aided efficiently as I know my job role and get help from all staff members if I am ever in need of assistance on anything . As well as the apprentiship team coming in every month to talk over my course.
I receive a lot of support from my employer as he helps me with tasks and takes me to customers houses to measure there kitchens and show me how to use equipment correctly.
I receive a good amount of support with my qualifications as the apprentice team come in every month to talk me through my coursework and give me assistance on how to complete it.
I feel that my training provider has helped me perform better throughout my role by giving me support and skills on how to do my job role better.
We have a trade day once a year where we get a food van, drinks and raffle events on to get more customers in to buy items that are discounted at a reduced cost.

The company has looked after me since I have began and give us good incentives to keep us on top of our targets and to strive to do better.
I would give people advise to make sure they have a good work ethic to start as it is a big job role.
