  • I have learnt a lot of skills into becoming a site engineer and the way that Balfour Beatty operate as a company.

  • a lot of what I have learnt from my training provider has been applicable to my placement year. The challenge has been how to apply it to what the company has wanted with it’s own individual set up

  • I have been a part of an industrial cadets scheme which has consisted of a group project as well as individual awards schemes.

  • Yes


  • 9b. Why?
  • I would recommend Balfour Beatty to a friend due to past placements where I really enjoyed it. However I have found it much harder this time working under a joint venture in the early stages of a project.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Balfour Beatty?
  • Apply to join a project which you are interested in and get some background knowledge about the project if you don’t know about it.
