I cook and prepare food in a pub, the role includes cleaning and keeping a tidy surrounding and also keeping a consistent high quality in the food we produce and serve

I have developed my confidence but also my time management skills whilst working at this job

3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I enjoy my job as is provides me with great opertunities but is also fun.

4. How well organised/structured is your programme?

It is well structured and organised, I am set specific work to complete by a time and if I struggle I can easily speak to someone to help me

5. How much support do you receive from your employer?

My employer is very supportive and offers me opportunities to complete my apprenticeship work during service

6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

If I need any help or support I can easily contact my training provider, they are very understanding and helpful

7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

It helps me understand the business and has definitely help me improve the way I work

8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

There have been opportunities when I could've joined the staff darts tournament, however I chose not to, hopefully there will be more opportunities in the future to do more team building.

Yes

I have found it to be an excellent place to work with an friendly atmosphere and they provide excellent training and opportunities to progress

10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to JD Wetherspoon?

Be confident and willing to learn new things, and enjoy yourself, the environment is fast paced so time management is important
