Learning, listening to lectures, mainly provided on a Wednesday and Thursday
At the start of the year we where in the work shop, here I learnt how to use a large, milking machine, pillar drill and some hand skills
Hard to tell at the moment as we don’t have much interaction. Teachers have left and so there isn’t much motivation for our weeks
Not very well, we work towards a HNC on the Thursday but other then that our course has no structure
We have not yet had lots of interaction with the company but there are people there if we need to talk to them
When working towards our HNC, oceansgate college trainers provide very high levels of support and go out of their way to help us
This qualification will help me to understand many important underlying knowledge area for my future role
No
No
I have put no as I am unsure yet, for how the course is going so far I would say no but hopefully when we get into the dockyard next year it will be better and my answer would then be a yes
Ensure you are motivated to work and keen to get into the engineering world
