General Management Apprentice Review

My role changes every 6 months so I do not have a set role. My role varies depending on the placement that I am in at the time.

I have been able to develop many skills especially the softer skills such as presentation skills, communication etc. I have also been able to develop my critical thinking

I enjoy my programme quite a lot. I feel like when you are only somewhere for 6 months you don't always see the outcomes of your work but on the flip side some places also wont give you anything onerous as your not there long term.

In terms of 'leads' I don't think that they are always the best people to do the job due to lack of experience and not having a cost centre makes it hard to get laptops etc when needed for the role.

Managers depend on the placement and the support can vary. HR is poor, if you ring general HR there is a lack of understanding regarding the apprenticeship.

Hardly any. Most problems raised never get dealt with and they don't seem to cater correctly for DA's

Nope; very little relevance to any of the roles that I have other than a 'good to know'

There are quite a few but it is quite hard to always find them

They are generally a good company to work for but I wouldn't necessarily advise the apprenticeship scheme due to lack of support that there is when your always moving around etc

The process is long and hard so research into what is the most relevant in the company
