  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • I am responsible for a team of 10-15 people in a contact centre environment taking calls from customers. I deal with complaints from customers, review KPIs manage budgets, deal with any absence or timekeeping issues and rate performance.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • I have learnt a lot of new skills as I was quite new to leadership and as such its given me a different perspective and view of how to deal with different issues. I feel much more confident in dealing with the people issues now.

  • I really enjoyed the programme. My mentor was great and very supportive and there was some really interesting learning material .

  • My programme was well structured and it was clear what I needed to complete and when.

  • I received an adequate amount of support when I asked for it. There was some on the job learning but I did put a lot of my own time into the course.

  • I received a lot of support. My mentor was always just a phone call or email away and no question was a problem for her.

  • Much better. I think all new leaders should consider the course as it was great for confidence and development.

  • Yes lots. I am a member of the charity committee and we have lots of social events planned too by our social committee

  • To give it a chance. You may not start in the role that you want but there is a lot of opportunity for progression. Stick with it, put the time in and the company will support you in your development
