  • I feel valued by Colt. The fact that they have a dedicated scheme and they run training and workshops for apprentices shows this. Also factors like a pension scheme and healthcare show that they value employees.

  • 5. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • The program is very well organised. The training I receive in college flows well and it means that I am able to gain a better understanding of the tasks I am completing a wok as I progress through my apprenticeship. The delegation and team hierarchy is good as it means that I get tasks that I am able to complete and if I am ever struggling there is always someone that I can go to.

  • 6b. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • I receive lots of support from my employer. As the majority of work that I complete is done by 'shadowing' someone else, there is always support available and people are always happy to help me with any questions that I have. My manager is very supportive and has helped me with all aspects of work and study.

  • It's a good place to work with a good atmosphere and environment. People are always happy to help and as an apprentice this is everything that you could ask for.

  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Colt Technologies?
