  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • So I am a secretary which means my roles include processing expenses, booking travel, meeting rooms and general admin based things. I look after approximately 20 Senior Managers and do whatever they ask within reason, according to an SLA that there is.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • I have learned how to process expenses, how to work in an office space, how to write emails successfully and to a certain group of people. How to book meeting rooms, travel etc.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I find the programme extremely enjoyable when I have work on but have, as of late found myself with an increasing amount of time on my hands which means I have been enjoying it less.

  • 4. How valued do you feel by KPMG?
  • Very, I feel valued as a part of the team. My SM's are always very appreciative.

  • 5. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • Hit and miss, it is relatively in the sense of having exams, calls etc but on odd occasion things are often lost in translation and I sometimes find myself getting confused.

  • 6a. How much support do you receive from your training provider?
  • I have a contact in which I can talk to if I am stuck which is really useful. I can get this at an email.

  • 6b. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • A fair amount, if I ever need help then they are here to support me but this tends to be in terms of the job role rather than the studying aspect.

  • 7. How well does your salary/package meet your costs?
  • In terms of relocating to Bristol this is relatively tough as I have to manage money a lot, this is doable but it's quite a low amount to budget on. THis is expected as an Apprentice though.

  • Loads, always drinks on after work and clubs etc.

  • Yes
