As an integrated business, KPMG in the UK is in a strong position to respond to client needs, bringing together the right teams at the right time, across disciplines and across borders. The key to our success as a firm lies in our ability to match our insights and skills to the strategic goals of clients, day in and day out.
No one type of person succeeds at KPMG; a diverse business requires diverse personalities, characters and perspectives. There really is a place for you here.
What could you do here?
It’s never too soon to start thinking about your career options at KPMG. Joining KPMG means joining a talented team of exceptional colleagues who bring innovative thoughts and a natural curiosity to the work they do each day.
We have a wide range of opportunities for school leavers across Audit, Tax, Pensions and Legal Services, and our Advisory and Technology teams. No matter where you join us, you’ll have the opportunity to work across functional sectors, giving you depth and breadth of experience. And we don’t just mean fantastic, hands-on experience – you’ll also have access to wide-ranging training and development programmes, and you’ll be able to join our employee networks, societies, and sports and leisure clubs as well as getting involved in volunteering activities.
Who are we looking for?
We’re looking for people with a strong interest in business, commercial awareness, intellectual curiosity and the ability to think of new ways to solve problems. We’re interested in people who take pride in their work, have integrity, and can build strong, long-lasting relationships that bring out the best in others. As a general rule, you’ll also be expected to have a minimum of five A*-C grades at GCSE, or at least five Scottish Standards grades at 1-3 (including Maths and English Language), and a minimum BCC grades at A-Level or equivalent qualifications. For our Audit School Leaver Programme, you’ll need a minimum ABB grades at A-Level (or minimum AABBB for Scottish Highers). Please note, we only consider your ‘top’ three A-Level grades and don’t accept General Studies.
Why join us?
At KPMG, your long-term future is every bit as important to us as it is to you. That’s why our aim is to offer you experiences that will stay with you for a lifetime. Whether it’s great training and development, mobility opportunities or corporate responsibility volunteering activities – you’ll gain a wealth of experiences on which to build a rewarding career.
We’re at our best when you’re at your best; that’s why we’ve created ‘Our Deal’ and ‘The Academy’. Our Deal is the way we speak about the colleague experience and the expectations we have of our people. We expect the best from our people and in return we provide a stimulating, collaborative environment where each person can reach their extraordinary potential. Through ‘The Academy’, you’ll have access to communities which will support and develop you so that you build your skills and career. From introducing secondment programmes to preferential banking, and student loan payments to your birthday off, we’re making sure that our people have an amazing experience.
Year-round recruitment, early application advised.
