  • Your day to day task will vary greatly as it is a rotational programme. The roles are in audit, tax, advisory and tech.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • In my tech role as a quality assurance analyst I have progressed to being able to look through code to test a website as well as being fluent is recording bugs and creating test cases to ensure everything has been tested

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I really enjoy the team that I currently work in and enjoy having a cohort of apprentices that are my age around the firm.

  • 4. How valued do you feel by KPMG?
  • I feel very valued by the specific team that I work in and am included in team socials so definitely feel as part of the team

  • 5. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • I do think being a rotational programme offers a lot of challenges to find rotations etc and organisation is somewhat lacking. Personally I was lucky that my first placement is one that I can see a future in and this is included in the tech degree apprentice route which has been collaboratively structured by the management team and the tech department.

  • 6a. How much support do you receive from your training provider?
  • BPP has its own website and offers a plethora of resources to help you through your exams; included in this is carefully condensed flashcards that help solidify understanding

  • Within the team I work with I receive a lot of support and feel able and comfortable to ask anyone in my team questions.

  • Lunch allowance provided as well as an above average apprenticeship salary to counteract train fares

  • Theres a plethora of networking events and clubs to join and participate in that builds the kpmg community

  • Yes

  • Be as open an honest about yourself in interviews - you want the job to fit 'you' not the person you are pretending to be
