Networking at all levels
The team, company and culture I work in is great and is one of the reasons I joined JPMC, it met all expectations. however I do feel the qualification could be more relevant to the job role you are doing day-today.
From my day-to-day role I do feel thoroughly valued as a member of a global team.
The programme is well organized and you always know what your deliverables are. However as said before I believe the qualification should be more of a representation of your current role.
Training provider has a well organized structure of the course, however I do believe there could be improvements with the practice for the exams.
The support we receive from our employer is at a good standard, there is a huge emphasis on mentors, buddies and 1-1, which develops a great culture in which networking thrives. Support wise we have a great apprenticeship team based on site that we can go to with any of our problems.
Having to move down here, and get a place wasn't the easiest with the starting salary provided, without having savings I believed it would have been impossible for me. The initial 18 months the pay isn't necessarily representative of the role you are working at, having said that once you roll off the apprenticeship the salary will increase to a more reasonable rate.
There are many activities to get involved with outside of our working hours, e.g. sports.
Yes
I would recommend JPMC to anyone as I believe they are one of the best companies for internal mobility and networking, there is also a huge initiative to develop employees, so for young professionals I would say JPMC is one of the top 5.
Be yourself in the interview stages, stay calm! ensure your CV's are on point ensure you know what your going to say before and interview, dress for the job you want not the one you have! In terms of onboarding get it done ASAP, if I could have been told anything before I started it would be the team I'm in and the job role so you can prepare.
