Technical Apprenticeship Programme at BAM (England and Wales)

During your time on the BAM technical apprenticeship programme you will achieve a Higher Apprenticeship in either Civil Engineering, Construction Management or Quantity Surveying.

Our programme is delivered in partnership with Leeds College of Building. You will attend college on a block release basis, this means you will get to spend some time living and studying away from home, getting the university experience whilst being employed!

Our flagship apprenticeship programme for Civil Engineering, Construction Management and Quantity Surveying is open to those who have achieved the following entry requirements:

  • GCSE Maths and English grade 5 (B) or above

And

  • 2 x STEM A-levels or a relevant level 3 qualification e.g. Construction, Civil Engineering, Finance, Business

On completion of your Higher Apprenticeship (2 years duration) you will get the opportunity to top-up your qualification to a full degree through the Degree Apprenticeship route (3 years in duration). Along with this, you will gain a professional qualification through one of the following:

  • Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE)
  • Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB)
  • Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS)
  • Chartered Institution of Civil Engineering Surveyors (CICES).

Technical Apprenticeship Programme (Scotland)

Our Graduate Apprenticeship programme in Scotland provides the opportunity to work towards a degree apprenticeship in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or Quantity Surveying.
