  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • Putting out stock, facing up, till work, interacting with customers, cleaning the store at the end of the day, and early shifts to take in deliveries.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • I've learnt a lot more about interacting with customers, building on my communication and customer service skills.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I enjoy the till work and most customer interaction, though I find the work very repetitive. My shifts also mean that I either go in very early or leave quite late, so I don't have a lot of time at home to do things like shower, or make dinner.

    4/10

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • It's a good set up, having 2 hours of online training a week that comes out of my working day.

    7/10

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • I get a lot of support, there's always someone to ask questions to

    9/10

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • She's always available to send a message, and I can rely on her to respond even if it takes an hour or so. Really nice person too!

    9/10

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • It allows me to get a better insight into why we do things in the shop, such as why we move stock around, or how we can tell if we have pests around food items.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • None so far, if there will be any at all

    1/10
