  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • Work beside my payroll colleagues offering my support in a wide range of different day-to-day subjects including processing various different types of forms sent in by customers such as sick notes, carry out various different payroll reports throughout the month, being assigned different tasks that need to be completed each month which go from team member to team member.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • I have learnt a huge amount during my time within my apprentice including professionalism, teamwork, leadership, communication and so much more which is great. The skills that I have picked up are very transferable and I can carry them forward with me in life.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I am thoroughly enjoying my apprenticeship and the opportunities included with I feel as though there is so much offered to me and there is a lot of opportunity to try new things and get myself out there.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • The structure of my programmed is great as slowly new and more challenging things are introduced to me to support me with my learning and allow me to be the best that I can be which is great. Everything seems to be falling into place and its doesn't feel to rushed or too slow.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • I receive a lot of support from my employer as everyone throughout the team offers their help and support which is great for my development. My managers are fully involved with my apprenticeship and ensure they keep asking how I am finding it and making sure they are involved as much as possible.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • They ensure to offer their guidance and expert knowledge as well as keeping up to date with how I ma finding it and if I need anymore support on subjects which is great and helps me really feel part of a team.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • The qualification allows me to learn the theory side of subjects to help support me with my job daily. It allows me to better understand customer queries and come up with stronger replies allowing me to be the best of my ability.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • There is so much to get involved with from the charity team, to the newsletter to various other apprentices opportunities to help support other apprentices and new starter which is great to see. Outside of work to the apprentices have set up various different sports team which are east and great to get involved with.

  • Yes

  • Its a great company to work for were you are treated really well. The are so many amazing opportunities to get involved with and they offer a competitive with many various benefits.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to BMW Group?
  • Get yourself out there and show off all your qualities and why you deserve to be offered an apprenticeship. Get involved with as much as you can and really throw yourself into the deep end.
