  • My day to day basis consists of being the best version of my self for the team every day. I give inputs and opinions and help out with work when needed. Being part of a project in real time is always rewarding because you can see your work in the final product.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • Yes, I’ve learned alot about the drainage sector for HS2. I didn’t realise it required such articulate planning. I’ve learned how to use computer design softwares and systems all while learning about the project I’m on.

  • I enjoy my program I just wish it was more hands on and involved more practical work. I personally don’t enjoy being at a laptop all the time.

  • They are very organised

  • I receive alot of support and there’s always support systems available

  • The training provider doesn’t offer much support.

  • I learn alot from the training provider and that knowledge I’m able to use within my work

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • Yes there’s a few, I’m actually in the process of creating a football team for my work place!

  • Yes


  • 9b. Why?
  • Because they are a people company they put their staff first no matter what.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Arcadis?
  • If you like more practical work and hands on experience this probably isn’t for you.
